Thin Air: Winnipeg International Writers Festival begins this Friday, September 21 and runs until Saturday, September 29th. Thin Air features readings, workshops and live interviews with local, national and international writers and storytellers. Featured authors this year include Richard Ford, Lorna Crozier, Patrick Lane, David Bergen, Méira Cook and Pasha Malla.

As part of Thin Air's Campus Program, renowned American author Richard Ford will be reading from his new novel, Canada, at the University of Winnipeg on Tuesday, September 25 from 4:00 - 5:15 p.m.
The reading will take place in Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall and admission is free.
